16 Mind-Blowing Cordwood Fences That Will Amaze You

If you want to leave the impression with your house, it can best do it if you have a unique and striking fence.I love wood things for that I made this article “15 Mind-Blowing Cordwood Fences That Will Amaze You” which I hope you will like it.

It’s an inexpensive project for those living near or out in the woods. You can call it cordwood, low-end or stack wood fence. And just as it can be called a few different names, there are also various ways to build one. It all depends on your location, your design preference, budget and the type of wood available to you.

Now regardless of where you are and what exact building method you use, it is important always to use rot-resistant wood for this project! Cedar, Osage Orange, Redwood and Black Locust are some of the healthy choices. If you want, you can even use Bois d’arc which is one of the hardest hardwoods out there!

Have a look at some examples from our album below for cordwood fence design ideas and be inspired to build your own!

Beautiful! I want to create cord wood walls for raised garden beds…10 to 12 inches wide…a nice perch for my old bones while weeding. Is this a good idea? Will it attract pests? Can I use cement? Can you recommend best practices?
