DIY Wooden Incredible Makeover on Old Floor
Across the nation, a very unique and very beautiful renovation technique is taking homes by storm. Though this special technique dates back thousands of years, more and more houses around the world have begun to bring it back into fashion.In this particular home was used to give their concrete floor a beautiful, all-natural makeover. They started by sweeping and mopping, then planning out the arrangement of their wooden discs.
Cut trees into circles
Glued them directly to the floor.
After setting each piece, firmly tamped them to ensure they were on good and tight.
Soon, they entire floor was covered in the beautiful wooden floor.
Applied a light coat of polyurethane to the surface of the disks. Do this to prevent the grout from adhering to the tops.
Finally is complete.
We are wanting to do this flooring in our house how did you glue rounds to the floor? When did you grout and and poly the wood?
